“The Laying on of Hands: Exploring the Boundaries of Belief”

This quarter’s Tell us Something was recorded on December 15th, 2011 at the Missoula Art Musuem, and features six storytellers telling a story based upon the theme “Dear Diary”, which tied into the art exhibit that was a fictionalized account of “The Lost Journals of Sacajawea” by artists Deborah Magpie Earling and Peter Rutlige Koch.

Susan Maruca, shares her story titled: “The Laying on of Hands: Exploring the Boundaries of Belief”.  Mullet sporting middle aged men lay their hands on a young Susan Maruca, the captain of the Recreational Mathematics team, in an effort for her to experience the intertwining oneness of everything. This is the beginning of Susan’s journey of curiosity that will guide her entire life.

Susan Maruca is a scientist, software developer and educator who builds beautiful ceramics based upon things occurring naturally out in the world.
