“My Remote Control Has a Black Belt in Karate”

This quarter’s Tell us Something was recorded on December 15th, 2011 at the Missoula Art Museum, and features six storytellers telling a story based upon the theme “Dear Diary”, which tied into the art exhibit that was a fictionalized account of “The Lost Journals of Sacajawea” by artists Deborah Magpie Earling and Peter Rutlige Koch.

Kyle McAfee shares his story “My Remote Control Has a Black Belt in Karate”. Kyle MacAffee is a fighter who falls in love with a girl who punched him in the face.

Kyle McAfee is a thirty one year old American Human. He has been performing, writing, filmmaking and bookselling for the last fifteen years, mostly in Missoula, with the exception of a short stint in Portland and a slightly shorter stint in Brooklyn. Dude is also a rapper and a comic book artist, but is too humble to admit that.
