Neil McMahon is working as a carpenter on a construction site in a remote part of Montana when the call comes from his New York City publisher.
Neil McMahon grew up in Chicago and moved to Montana in 1971. He is the author of a dozen thrillers, his favorite is “Lone Creek”, set near Helena. He’s married to Kim Anderson, who has been deeply involved with the Montana Book Festival since the beginning. Learn more about Neil and his work here.
