“What are the Chances?”

This quarter’s Tell us Something was recorded on October 10th, 2013 at the Top Hat Lounge in Missoula, MT. The theme was “Be Careful What You Wish For”.

Cheyenne Aura Rogers shares her story “What are the Chances?”. Living in Kalispell, Cheyenne wishes to be closer to her brothers. One of whom, Cedar, lived in Missoula. They rented a house together. Then one day, Cedar’s truck is not in front of the house.

Cheyenne Aura Rogers grew up in a triangle between Seeley Lake, Missoula, and The Flathead Valley. Basketball, volleyball, and track helped develop her athletic foundation. Skiing from an early age, Cheyenne fell in love with the mountains. Upon her senior year she went to The Bigfork Whitewater Festival instead of her senior prom and found a passion in the whitewater community. After graduating from Flathead High she attended Flathead Valley Community College, achieving an Associates Degree and Bar and Beverage Management Degree. Cheyenne decided to move to back to Missoula in 2001 after being accepted into The Wilderness and Civilization Program at the University of Montana. The paddling, skiing, and biking community of the Missoula Valley invoked a deeper sense of home, prompting her to buy a house in the heart of the city across from Brennan’s Wave. Eventually she went on to get a Bachelor of Arts and landed an amazing job at Kettlehouse Brewing Company. Our town truly means the world to her.
