“Receipts”

This edition of Tell Us Something was recorded on October 9th, 2014 at the Top Hat Lounge in Missoula, MT. The theme was “The Things We Carry”.

Josh Wagner shares his story “Receipts”. Josh explains how an experience with a street vendor and a conversation with a woman on a bus while traveling in India caused him to decide to always carry a receipt or two on his person.

Josh Wagner is a novelist and playwright usually based out of Montana. Josh was living in the middle of the desert with his dog Lucyfurr in 2008 when Ape Entertainment released his first graphic novel, Fiction Clemens. Since then he’s traveled all over the planet, spinning stories out of what he finds. Outside of his comics work Josh is the author of five books: Shapes the Sunlight Takes, Mystery Mark, Smashing Laptops, Deadwind Sea, and The Adventures of the Imagination of Periphery Stowe, as well as half a dozen plays (including Salep & Silk, Ringing Out, Bleach Bone). In his spare moments he reads too much, gets lost in the woods, and dances until they kick him out of the bar.
