“Frisbee Dudes” (or) “Won't You Be My Neighbor”

Some college students move into Karen’s neighborhood causing consternation to her. She worries that they will disrupt the neighborhood made up mostly of families. Instead, they introduce themselves, become friends with her kids and “throw disc” with them whenever they can.

Karen McNenny has had a diverse career path, stretching from her days performing as an actress and dancer, to hocking souvenirs at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.  In a surprising twist of fate she landed in corporate America and eventually founded Made You Think Consulting.  Karen currently works throughout the country as a professional speaker, group facilitator and business educator.  However, she ultimately sees herself as a social activist – working towards world peace, one workplace at a time.

After studying media and theater arts at Montana State University, Karen completed her graduate studies as a Rotary International Scholar at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England.  Karen has a unique talent of weaving her skills as a storyteller and performer, with relevant and meaningful content.   When she is not out transforming society, she can be found in her hometown of Missoula dancing with nature, melting cheese on everything and chasing children…usually her own.  Learn more about Karen and her work at
