“Turning Eight”

Joyce Gibbs shares her story “Turning Eight” in which she talks her mother into buying her a nice pair of shoes, which she loses — allegedly in a snow bank.
Joyce Gibbs was raised in Missoula, Montana tramping through the woods. She grew up to become an artist, poet, jeweller, builder and gardener. She lives on the Northside where she gardens in her greenhouse, makes art in her art studio and continually remodels her house.
