“Are you there God? It’s Me, the Fainting Hipster”

This quarter’s Tell us Something was recorded on March 7th, 2012 at the Top Hat. The theme was “Rites of Passage”.

Kate Morris shares her story “Are you there God? It’s me, the Fainting Hipster”. Bleeding out is terrifying and Kate is worried about it happening to her, when — well, her mom gave her “The Talk” better than can be described here.

Kate Morris is a playwright, dramaturg and poet born and raised in Montana. Her plays “Graceful Exits” and “Venn Diagrams” have been seen in Missoula in recent years, as well as her poetry and many other short plays involving chickens, zombies, and people being baked into pies. She can also be seen at rock shows and looking through records at ear candy. She prefers jack and ginger-ales to PBR.
