ZACC Summer Camp Update

Due to our abundance of caution in light of the current rise in COVID-19 cases in Missoula, and the interactive, performative nature of the Tell Us Something summer camp at the ZACC, the camp is canceled this year.

This was a difficult call for us. While the ZACC has been doing their best to provide safe learning opportunities to kids this summer, with COVID cases in Missoula increasing, Tell Us Something believes that this is the best decision.

We look forward to guiding Missoula’s youth in finding their truth and teaching them the art of live story-telling when we can safely do so. Stay healthy and strong, Missoula, and we will get to the other side with even more powerful stories to share.

Podcast updates

Last month I mentioned that I have embarked on a project to bring you “Tell Us Something – Behind the Scenes with the Storytellers” on the podcast. The response from storytellers has been tremendous, and I have been interviewing up to 3 storytellers in one day!

I thought I knew about editing audio. I’ve learned that post-production in an interview setting is much more labor-intensive than the traditional editing that I’ve grown accustomed to doing in the last 10 years producing the Tell Us Something podcast. I am still committed to getting these episodes to you and hope to have the first one done soon. Don’t forget to subscribe to the podcast so that you don’t miss them!

I hope you are safely enjoying your summer. Please wear a mask when social distancing is not possible and take care of yourself and each other.

yours in stories,
Marc Moss
