ANNOUNCING Tickets for March 2024! Plus, December Live Event Recap✨

December 20923 curtain call 📷kmr studiosThank you for celebrating community and live storytelling with us in 2023. I am so overwhelmed by the incredible year that we have shared together. I am full of gratitude most recently for those who were in the room at our most recent Tell Us Something live storytelling event at The Wilma. The Kindness of Strangers” was clearly evident as we held space for stories that were vulnerable, poignant, raw, and real.

On Site Childcare provided by Spark!

We were so excited to Spark! for providing on-site childcare at this last event. We hope to collaborate like this again in the future!

If you missed it, here’s a small taste:

Speaking of the next event, mark your calendars! (ADD TO GOOGLE CALENDAR) (ADD TO OUTLOOK) Our next event is on March 26, 2024, at The George & Jane Dennison Theatre.

I remember when the last event sold out a week before the show! My inboxes began blowing up almost immediately. First, it was texts (that never stopped) “Do you have any extra tickets?” (No.) Then scammers on FB started reporting that they had “tickets that they couldn’t use” for sale. (Only by tickets from authorized outlets or from people that you know personally to avoid being scammed). And my email inbox began filling up with similar requests.

All of this to say, don’t wait until the last minute. Get your tickets now! (and tickets to Tell Us Something make great gifts. Just sayin’ 😉
Tickets are on sale now.

Stewardship ticket opportunities

Did you know that at each Tell Us Something event, we provide the community with a limited number of free tickets to organizations that serve underprivileged, socioeconomically challenged, vulnerable, or marginalized populations? Do you know anyone who might benefit from this Stewardship program? Do you work for an organization that serves these populations? Let me know and we can work together to get you some tickets to the next event.

Sponsorship opportunities

We are so grateful for the sponsors who help make Tell Us Something possible. They make the Stewardship program possible and help defray the cost of renting venues, help pay artists, photographers, storytellers, and ASL interpreters. Would your organization like to sponsor a Tell Us Something event in 2024? Let me know.

Join the Tell Us Something Board

Are you interested in joining the Tell Us Something board? Specifically, right now we are actively searching for a new treasurer following the expiration of the current one’s term. Drop me a line and let me know how you’d like to serve, what you love about Tell Us Something, and what sort of skills you have to share.

We are so thankful for the storytellers, listeners, volunteers, ASL interpreters, sponsors, and friends who have come together to help make Tell Us Something what it is: a space where stories, community connection, and mutual support thrive. Your generosity and kindness make these storytelling experiences possible for everyone. Things are tough right now for many of us. If it is within your means, please consider a donation to Tell Us Something to help us continue bringing incredible storytelling to our community.

Thanks for your time. Have a story-worthy day!
