Missoula Pride “Neighbors” Live Storytelling Event Recap

We were so excited to partner with Missoula Pride for our recent event on the theme of “Neighbors.” Eight storytellers shared their true personal stories without notes, and it was a powerful and moving evening. We heard stories about coming out, finding acceptance, and building community. We also heard stories about the challenges of being a neighbor and the importance of finding common ground. Stories of love, getting it right and getting married.

We’re now calling for storytellers for our next event on the theme of “Lost in Translation.” Pitch deadline: August 20, 2023 • 1:1 workshops in the following weeks (scheduled individually) • Group workshop September 16, 2023 • The live event is September 28, 2023 at The George & Jane Dennison Theatre – Theme:  “Lost in Translation”

We’re looking for stories about times when you’ve felt lost in translation, whether it was due to language barriers, cultural differences, or simply a misunderstanding.

Announcing a FREE live storytelling event at Bonner Park Bandshell!

This event will be held on July 13 at the Bonner Park Bandshell.  The theme is “Out of my Shell”.

We’ll feature seven storytellers from the University of Montana’s Creative Pulse graduate program sharing their stories. Bring your own blankets and chairs, and please leave your dogs at home.
